Do you love chestnuts? The event, promoted and organized by Firenze Fiera, with the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, was created with the aim of promoting the chestnut tree as an agricultural, economic, landscape, and cultural resource, involving producers, local authorities, associations, research institutes, processing companies, consortia, and tourism operators from various Italian regions as well as some important European chestnut-growing districts, especially in France and Greece.

The event will feature large exhibition spaces, displays, conferences, tastings, and cooking shows, showcasing a strategic supply chain for many of our country's mountainous and inland areas, now the focus of renewed attention, including in terms of sustainability, biodiversity, and regional regeneration. A full immersion in tradition and innovation, ancient knowledge and new technologies, innovative products, including nutraceuticals, new nature trails, and tourist maps along the hilly and mountainous ridges of our regions. The spotlight will be on chestnut cultivation, the myriad beneficial and healthful properties of this fruit, and the allure of the chestnut patriarchs, living monuments that bear witness to the stories of entire generations, fascinating rural civilizations, and biodiversity.
