Donnavventura in Florence: now it's your turn!

All the exciting experiences featured in the Donnavventura episode filmed in Florence, at your disposal. Are you ready?

That’s a wrap! Filming has finished in the Tuscan capital for the Mediaset program "Donnavventura", a docu-reality broadcast on air since 1989 that portrays the exciting adventures of a group of young women who travel around Italy and the world, discovering the wildest and most extreme side of destinations – an antidote against boredom that has fascinated millions of viewers for years!

The episode will be broadcast on Sunday 27 September at 2.00 pm on Rete 4. Don't fret if you have commitments, the replay will be broadcast on 2 October, again on Rete 4, in the evening.

Donnavventura with Destination Florence

A wonderful collaboration has been formed with Destination Florence. We were lucky enough to follow and support the production during the 5 days of shooting, having a lot of fun! We closely watched the girls venture into thrilling and unique experiences in our territory, revealing a Florence filled with sport, excitement and well-being.

In the episode, you can see the girls engage with different sports, both extreme and otherwise, carried out in the heart of Florence or in the wonderful Chianti countryside.
  1. The extreme par excellence is of course a skydive: a free fall flight over Florence admiring the Chianti countryside and monuments
  2. Flow down the Arno through the historic center, passing under the Ponte Vecchio, with urban rafting
  3. A day of golf among olive and cypress trees at the Circolo dell’Ugolino on the Chianti path

Passing through Florence, the Donnavventura girls took the opportunity to indulge in moments of pleasure with flavors and typical products such as extra virgin olive oil and wine. To fully delve into their scents and production, they chose two experiences with a truly Tuscan character:
the tasting of oil and wine produced by Cascina di Poggio Casciano with a tour of the cellar,
and a visit to the Frantoio Santa Tea in Reggello.

And the food? Don't worry, they didn’t leave out our unmissable cuisine. Where else could you get a better choice if not in the beating heart of Florentine food and wine, where everything is available and close at hand: lampredotto, tripe, Fiorentina, shops, products and gourmet artisans. All this can be found in the Mercato Centrale of Florence.

The girls' adventure, however, wouldn’t be complete without the adrenaline that is most tangible in Florence: the culture and panorama. Stendhal was not joking! Cherishing the nights spent by the banks of the Arno in the splendid rooms of the Ville sull'Arno hotel, they followed the course of the river until they reached Brunelleschi's Dome and savoured the sensations of experiencing the Renaissance through the monuments of the historic center.
