On Destination Florence you can book your stay in a hotel, b& B or luxury villas. You can also buy museum tickets and exibitions tickets, Firenzecard included. You may find on Destination Florence cinema, theatres, concerts ticket, book tours, tastings, experiences and much more.

Destination Florence allows users to centralize everything in the Metropolitan City of Florence, involving all operators and their services. The website allows all purchases to be made in one place, which would otherwise need to be bought separately.

There is no extra cost for most of the products offered on Destination Florence’s website. In some cases, there might be an extra charge for presale items.

All the products available on the website are dropped into a “single shopping cart,” making it easy to buy multiple products in one transaction. Certain products may need to be bought separately - this will be indicated during check out.
Hotel reservations must be made separately but still through the website. This means that if you purchase multiple products as well as reserve a hotel, you will need to make two transactions.

Payments can be made with Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards.

The order confirmation (both for successful and unsuccessful transactions) will be sent immediately and they are provided by Destination Florence platform.

Train tickets can be bought at the station ticket offices or directly from trenitalia.com. Bus tickets can be purchased at official ticket offices or authorized vendors (newsstands, tobacconists, etc.).

Florence is generally a mild city, with hot, sunny summers and maximum temperatures that can exceed 30°C (86°F). Winters are cool, but temperatures rarely drop below zero. Spring and autumn are the mildest seasons.

Firenze Card gives you access to all 72 museums in its network and is valid for 72 hours from when you first use it. It can be purchased online or from one of the points of sale (ticket offices at Santa Maria Novella, Pitti Palace, Palazzo Vecchio, Brancacci Chapel, Bargello Museum, Uffizi Gallery and Palazzo Strozzi, or at one of the tourist information points in Piazza della Stazione and via Cavour).

Firenze Card costs 85,00 € and grants you a single visit to each of the 72 museums. This includes the museums’ permanent collections and temporary exhibitions. You also get priority access to certain museums without reservation. Transportation is not included in the card, but there is the option of purchasing Firenze Card + unlimited transportation on local transport (ATAF and Li-nea buses and the tram), valid for 3 days for 7,00 € extra.

Yes, you can recharge Firebzecard with the Firenzecard Restart available in format only digital that allows you extending your vacation and add 48 hours to your expired Firenzecard. There are five tourist information points in the city: Piazza della Stazione 4; via Cavour 1r; Piazza S. Giovanni 1; via del Termine 11 (Airport); and Piazzale delle Cascine. There are also tourist information points in various towns in the metropolitan area.

From the chic Via de’ Tornabuoni to the artisan streets of the Oltrarno, not to mention the area around the Cathedral and the ateliers of Sant’Ambrogio, Florence is shopping centre. Several shopping malls are situated close to the city, offering top clothing brands and other products - some can be reached by shuttle bus from the city centre.
