Ice-skating rink and Ferris wheel
From December 2 to January 15, 2023, two of the most alluring Christmas attractions in Florence return to the gardens at Fortezza da Basso. Take a spin of the Ferris wheel and grab your skates for a round of what’s said to be one of Europe’s longest ice-skating rinks.
Christmas concert at Teatro del Maggio
At 8pm on December 22, a Christmas concert conducted by Maestro Diego Fasolis brings music by Johann Sebastian Bach to the stage of the renowned Teatro del Maggio. The Maggio Musicale Fiorentino choir and orchestra will serenade audiences with pieces from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio: BWV 248: Cantatas No. 1, 2, and 3.
Toscana Resort Castelfalfi returns with a full programme of events throughout the holiday season, taking place in the medieval village nestled in the hills of Montaione. On December 17 and 18, the Christmas edition of the Oltrecolle Festival brings street food, sparkling lights, and a true sense of Christmas spirit. On December 28, the magic of Mattia Boschi lands in Tuscany Hall. The Florentine magician and illusionist has even performed in the Disney Channel studios and on Rai Uno.
New Year’s Eve dinner at B-Roof

On December 31, B-Roof at Hotel Baglioni offers the chance to spend the last few hours of the year in a stunning location with an unforgettable view.
