Florence: a rock music paradise

Firenze Rocks is back in Florence - June 2024: one of the biggest Rock Festival in Europe. Confirmed headliners are Avenged Sevenfold and Tool.

Florence is pumped with rock once again! From 13 to 15 June 2024, for its sixth year, the largest Italian rock festival returns, in which frontmen, guitars, drums and voices set the stage of the Visarno Arena on fire.

Firenze Rocks 2024 lineup


Two unique Italian dates:

On Thursday 13 June 2024, Avenged Sevenfold, an American heavy metal band formed in the late 1990s, will inflame the Firenze Rocks audience with a spectacular show. A highly anticipated return six years after their last performance in Italy, right on the stage of the Visarno Arena, to once again convey to their fans the energy and sound power that represents them. The date at Firenze Rocks will be the only stage in our country.

The Tool, historic American band, avant-garde of global progressive-metal and now aficionados of Firenze Rocks, will perform on Saturday 15 June 2024, bringing their Italian fans their grandiose and unique show, highly anticipated return after five from their last performance right on stage of the Visarno Arena. For them too it will be the only stop in our country!

Different groups will open for each main performer, transforming every day into a wild adrenaline rush. For four days, the cradle of the Renaissance becomes the beating heart of rock worldwide.

How to Reach the Firenze Rocks


In case you didn’t know, the Visarno Arena (or the Visarno Hippodrome) is a space nestled in Cascine Park, a structure surrounded by greenery and with an impressive holding capacity: it’s the perfect location for hosting major events such as concerts and performances. 

The Visarno Arena is located about two kilometers from the Santa Maria Novella railway station and can be easily reached by tram (Cascine stop).
