Florence: a rock music paradise

Firenze Rocks is back in Florence - June 2023: one of the biggest Rock Festival in Europe. The artists are The Who e Maroon 5.

Florence takes up rock again!  June 17th and June 18th 2023, for its fifth year, the biggest Italian music festival come back, in which frontmen, guitars, drums and voices ignite the Visarno Arena. (also known as the Visarno Ippodrome).

The festival will start with The Who, the legendary British rock band who for this one Italian date (June 17) chose to be accompanied by a local excellence: the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

To conclude the festival on June 18, will be the Maroon 5, who will be at the Firenze Rocks during their European tour. With more than 90 million albums sold, they are one of the most sustainable pop artists of the twenty-first century.

Different groups will open for each main performer, transforming every day into a wild adrenaline rush. For four days, the cradle of the Renaissance becomes the beating heart of rock worldwide.

In case you didn’t know, the Visarno Arena (or the Visarno Hippodrome) is a space nestled in Cascine Park, a structure surrounded by greenery and with an impressive holding capacity: it’s the perfect location for hosting major events such as concerts and performances. 

The Visarno Arena is located about two kilometers from the Santa Maria Novella railway station and can be easily reached by tram (Cascine stop).
