Musart Festival 2025: music and art in Florence
Musart 2025, the tenth edition (from July 17 to 26, 2025) at the beautiful Medicean Park of Pratolino: just announced, Manu Chao.
Musart is a completely Florentine festival, the result of a blend of music, art, dance, and culture. It returns with its tenth edition (from July 17 to 26, 2025) at the beautiful Medicean Park of Pratolino and will feature on stage Loredana Bertè, Roberto Vecchioni, Nino D’Angelo, Diodato, Giovanni Allevi with the Italian Symphony Orchestra, Gatti Mézzi, and, just announced, Manu Chao.
MUSART 2025
Nino D’Angelo will inaugurate the Musart Festival at the Medicean Park of Pratolino on Thursday, July 17. On Friday the 18th, Diodato will take the stage with a live performance that builds to a climax in perfect harmony with the audience. Highly anticipated is also Giovanni Allevi’s live concert on Saturday, July 19, one of four special event concerts where the artist will be accompanied by the Italian Symphony Orchestra. “50 da ribelle” is the tour that will bring Loredana Bertè to Florence on Monday, July 21, while on Wednesday, July 23, Roberto Vecchioni will perform again by popular demand after last summer’s sold-out show. On Thursday, July 24, the reunion concert of Gatti Mézzi will take place, blending theatrical song, swing, and old-time Tuscan flavors.
Recently confirmed: Manu Chao, icon and voice of a generation, will be on stage at the Medicean Park of Pratolino on Saturday, July 26, with an “Ultra Acoustic” live performance, revisiting the great anthems of his career—from “Mala Vida” to “Clandestino,” through “King Kong Five” and “Próxima Estación: Esperanza” up to his latest album “Viva Tu.” Mixing rock, reggae, ska, salsa, and raï, always with a focus on activism and social issues.
Musart Festival will close on Sunday, July 27 (at 4:45 a.m.) with an early dawn concert by pianist Alessandro Galati. For this occasion only, the setting will be the Cortile degli Uomini of the Istituto degli Innocenti, in Piazza della Santissima Annunziata, just a few steps from Florence’s Duomo.
PARK VISITS
Before the shows, visitors can explore the most evocative corners of the park following a guided route coordinated by professional tour guides, starting with the Colossus of the Apennines, the masterpiece by Giambologna for which the park is famous. Special attention will be paid to respecting the ecosystem.
During the Musart Festival concerts, it will be possible to purchase in advance on TicketOne parking spaces for cars and motorcycles in lots near the park, connected by shuttle buses operated by AT – Autolinee Toscane, before and after the shows.
