The guided tour takes you on the discovery of the Baptistery, the oldest monument in the Piazza del Duomo and a symbol of the city, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, patron saint of Florence.

The Baptistery is an extraordinary example of Romanesque architecture, enriched with splendid decoration.

There you can climb about 60 steps to the so-called Women’s Gallery, a special arcade around the upper reaches of the Baptistery, the perfect vantage point from which to admire a thousand square meters of beautiful gold mosaics on the dome and the marble inlays in the floor below.
