EVENT DESCRIPTION:

The International Ceramics Fair is held annually in Piazza Santa Croce in Florence during the first weekend of October. Over the course of two days, it welcomes approximately 90 ceramists from all over Italy and several European countries. Exhibitors present a rich variety of ceramic techniques, ranging from stoneware to porcelain, from majolica to lusterware.

Each artisan combines technical mastery with their own artistic and cultural vision, creating unique pieces: home and furniture objects, jewelry, and sculptures that showcase tradition and innovation through a multitude of shapes, colors, and styles. For children, clay-handling workshops and fun activities led by master ceramists are offered, while visitors can also enjoy organic products at the food and wine stalls.

The Fair represents an important event for the province of Florence, eagerly awaited by the public and exhibitors, who gather in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, characterized by quality and a passion for ceramic art.
