Florence, world famous city as the cradle of Italian culture, is preparing to host an important
charity event, the Florence China Charity Event, a concert dedicated to children, in which the
famous singer-songwriter Mandopop Jonnie Jiang (Chiang Yu Heng) will perform , which will
be held on July 1 in the prestigious location of the Opera House.
The event stems from the will of the singer himself, Chiang, who was fascinated by the beauty
of Florence during a trip.
The concept bases its foundation on the profound link between Chinese and Italian culture,
particularly the Tuscan one, whose two communities are increasingly integrated.
Florence China Charity Event, therefore, aims to consolidate this tradition and enhance the
Chinese culture through one of the most noble cultural forms such as music.
The event intends to continue in Italy what the association FACE (Fashion Association Charity
Event) in over ten years has managed to achieve in Shanghai, collecting millions of yen
donated for humanitarian projects dedicated to children.
The proceeds from the event will be donated to the Tommasino Bacciotti Onlus Foundation to
support Italian, Chinese and nationality children who each year go to Florence to be treated
and assisted at the Meyer Pediatric Hospital, through the Home Welcoming Project.
Great enthusiasm for the initiative, expressed by many personalities from the world of
institutions, Italian and international business, who have already confirmed their presence on
July 1 at the theater.
The event is supported not only by the founder of FACE Jim Issler, but also by important
partners, first of all the maison Stefano Ricci.
