Calambur - The challenge of the Districts

The districts perform a parade through the town centre before challenging each other in games of strength and skill, with the aim of socialising, having fun and rediscovering their own roots. Re-enactment of old games inspired to the Middle Ages. The event starts with a historical parade that leaves from Certaldo Alto at 2.30pm and will go down to the lower part of the town to stop in Piazza Boccaccio. Here at 4pm the six districts will take part to the games in Medieval style. In case of rain the event will be delayed to the next Sunday
