From July 21 to 25, 2024, the "Festival au Désert" returns to Florence for its 15th edition, curated by Fondazione Fabbrica Europa per le Arti Contemporanee ETS. Events will be held in the evocative Cloister of Santa Maria Novella and Cascine Park, hosting artists from Algeria, Morocco, India and Mali.

Born in 2010 from the collaboration between the Mali Festival au Désert and Fabbrica Europa, the Festival au Désert Florence aims to present the big names in contemporary world music. The festival offers a unique opportunity to discover the best of world music, involving artists from the Sahel, North Africa, the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
