EVENT DESCRIPTION: 

June 1st marks the start of the ninth edition of the Estate Fiorentina, a program full of events with even greater participation than in previous years. This year, 138 associations are involved with 122 projects, 6 special events and 10 festivals.

The program:

    • June 9 - July 5: Secret Florence Festival, a multidisciplinary festival in unusual and rarely visited places in the city
    • June 4-8: La città dei lettori Festival, Villa Bardini
    • June 7-September 7: Sagrati in Musica Festival, various locations
    • June 16-July 13: Apriti Cinema, Piazza Pitti
    • June 22 – July 6: Glass Sound Festival, various locations
    • June 23-July 24: Florence Dance Performing Arts Festival, Chiostro Grande di Santa Maria Novella
    • July 23-25: Festival au Desert Firenze, Chiostro di Santa Maria Novella and Parco delle Cascine
    • September 11-21: Open Air Circus, Parco delle Cascine
    • September 2-14: Florence Jazz Festival, Oltrarno
    • September 20: Lattexplus Festival Part 1, Cavea del Maggio Musicale
    • September 25-27: Genius Loci: Discovering Santa Croce, various locations
