What you will find

The Museum carries over 300 works created by Franco Zeffirelli, among scene sketches, drawings and costume fashion plates.

The itinerary of the exposition – chronologically subdivided along a sequence of rooms in Drama, Opera in music and Cinema – illustrates by themes the production, the opera direction and the cinema transpositions of passages from classical and contemporary literature.

  • History and customs. His masterpieces on Shakespeare; Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet.
  • The scent of his beloved operas. From Callas, to Domingo, to Pavarotti, staged under the direction of the Maestro.

As an integration, there are scene photographs, playbills and posters, preparatory studies and a sequence of papers that amply testify the favorite among the most important stage performances and authors both for the theatre and the opera.

The Zeffirelli Museum honors a Maestro, who has directed the greatest stages of the 20th century.

Family Ticket: the ticket is valid for parents and children under 14 years old.
