Traditional fair that takes place in Piazza Santissima Annunziata on the day when, since ancient times, the Catholic Church celebrates the announcement of the Incarnation of the Word given to the Virgin Mary by the Archangel Gabriel. From the seventh century this feast is fixed on the date of March 25, nine months before Christmas, the birth of Jesus.
