Erasmus4ever and Erasmus4future

What you will find

As in the preceding editions, Erasmus is going to play a prominent role in the rich programme of the Festival of Europe with the event Erasmus4Ever Erasmus4Future. The three-day event is organised by the Indire’s national agency Erasmus+, INAPP, and ANG in collaboration with l’Agence Erasmus+ France Education & Formation, and pivots around the concept of Erasmus+ as a life changing experience contributing to creating European identity.

An Erasmus+ stand will be set in Piazza Repubblica from the 7th to the 9th of May. The infopoint will engage citizens in the opportunities of the programme and it will also be a place where various Erasmus experiences will be shared with the general public, in order to get in touch with the key themes and opportunities of Erasmus+.

TUESDAY 7 MAY AT 12 PM: The programme opens in the afternoon with APERIEPALE, networking aperitif on adult education with Università di Strada, l’Università dell’Età Libera e Made in Sipario to get to know the European community dedicated to adult education, EPALE. The evening will conclude with the Erasmus orchestra’s string quartet, a little preview of the concert scheduled for the next day.

WEDNESDAY 8 MAY, 130 Erasmus Alumni - representatives of projects and successful experiences who will be Erasmus ambassadors for 1 day in 11 different schools of the city during three different events organised in collaboration with Florence university and Impact Hub - will be at the Erasmus booth.

In the Erasmus area, the students of the Saffi institute will prepare cocktails and finger food to provide a concrete example of the benefits of the participation in European mobility projects for training purposes.
The afternoon continues with Europe of Languages, presentation of the projects awarded the European Label of Languages 2018, the award for the initiatives exerting positive impact in language teaching and learning.

THURSDAY 9 MAY, Europe day, is an afternoon full of activities dedicated to the European dimension of the school and the Erasmus+ stories:
  • starting from 2:30 pm a workshop led by expert teachers to find out about ETWINNING, the platform allowing the development of collaborative online didactic projects to open schools to Europe. Following this, the secondary school Einstein-Nebbia of Loreto will take part in a circus performance to show what an Erasmus + VET experience is about: challenging oneself, overcoming one’s own limits, becoming more autonomous and independent, understanding one’s own potentials by making the most of the energy and creativity possessed by each of us.
  • The afternoon continues with the exhibition of Florence flag-wavers, followed by an Erasmus+ speed date, organised in collaboration with Florence’s Erasmus Student Network to know about Erasmus from the voice of those who lived this experience! Arm yourself with curiosity, and take a chair! You’ll have 5 minutes to introduce yourself and listen to a story, and then? Time’s up, next one, please!
