Calzaturificio Laudato

What you will find

The Laboratorio Laudato was founded in 1967. In 1984, after the premature death of their father, his children took the entire activity in their hands. Having lived and experienced the Bottega since they were young children, has allowed them to capture all the secrets and techniques of the craft and to immediately be able to immerse themselves in the work. Keeping intact and continuing the historic family business has been their only priority, a treasure to be protected. The techniques used have remained unchanged over the years: they start with the upper, next the sole is added with careful stitching, then the product is finished with great care to give it beauty, strength and comfort. Shapes, colors and weaving take form in the workshop and will make the happiness of all lovers of leather sandals.

Artisanship and quality are the key words of Laboratorio Laudato, a constant research of the best raw materials, of the best choice vegetable tanned leather: the result is a sandal that is absolutely original, authentic and natural. After fifty years of uninterrupted production, Laudato’s artisanal sandals have captured an ever growing public and an increasing international clientele.

It is possible to visit the workshop located in Via Giano della Bella, 20, inside the beautiful artisanal framework of the Officina Creativa/Conventino and to purchase their vast range of products in their shop in Via Santo Spirito, opposite the Santa Monaca Hostel and not far from the splendid Brancacci Chapels, a corner of Florence where it is always worth coming back to, to browse the many artisanal bottegas.
