EVENT DESCRIPTION:

From May 30 through September, the Boboli Garden offers special tactile and multisensory tours of the Upper Botanica, one of the most intimate and characteristic areas of the Medici park. These tours, led by specially trained sensory guides, both sighted and visually impaired, will allow participants to explore the garden through scents, sounds and touch.

During the tour, participants will be blindfolded and guided to discover the delicacies of flowers, surfaces and natural textures, accompanied by a narration full of information and suggestions. A dedicated app and a special sensory detector stick will enrich the experience, offering a unique spatial perception and emotion of the Boboli Gardens.

These tours, created in collaboration with the Culturaepiù association and the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Tuscany, offer a new way to experience the wonders of the Medici park, accessible to all.
