The Museo Novecento presents "Liebe, Glaube und Hoffnung," an exhibition curated by Sergio Risaliti celebrating German artist André Butzer. On display from March 1 to June 9, 2024, the event offers a journey through Butzer's entire artistic history, from European expressionism to American popular culture to his most recent phases.

Running concurrently at the Museo Stefano Bardini is "...und der Tod ist auch ein Leben," dedicated to the same artist and scheduled from March 22 to June 9, 2024.

The exhibition features some 25 works illustrating Butzer's extensive career, including drawings, paintings and even poems. Through recurring themes such as the dualism between life and death, hope and despair, truth and falsehood, the exhibition offers an in-depth view of Butzer's artistic world, enriched by previously unseen site-specific works.
