Medieval Festival

What you will find

Festival in medieval style: histical pageant, artisans stands, buskers, live music. On Saturday and Sunday at 5.30pm the historical parade will leave from Porta Senese and will go through the historical centre. The parade will stop inside the castle to stage the construction of the city of Semifonte with the final act planned at the church of San Bartolomeo. The programme of the event includes demonstrations and animations of archery and medieval games. In piazzetta Spedale dei Pellegrini and in via Vittorio Veneto you will be able to taste special Medieval recipes in the premises of the church San Bartolomeo and Chianti Classico wine at the farm Pasolini Dall'Onda Borghese. In the garden of Piazza Mazzini you will find the soldiers of the Medieval camp. Shops will be open and a free shuttle bus will be available on Sunday from 4pm to 8pm.
