EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Green, tingly and bitter: in November it's time for new oil and the Exhibition of Reggello extra virgin olive oil returns. As part of the event, one of the richest and longest-running among those dedicated to oil in the province of Florence, now in its 51st edition, the local producers make tasting its excellence the Oro Verde di Reggello, renowned for its low acidity and particular organoleptic characteristics, due to the height of the olive groves (300 m) and the peculiarity of the land.

Program of the Exhibition

November 1st: The event will start at 11:00 am with the opening ceremony, accompanied by the notes of the SaraBanda musical group. In the afternoon, there will be cooking shows and other engaging activities, such as the tasting of olive leaf infusions and the "Bimbi in Rassegna" workshop for children.
November 2: The day will be dedicated to exploring new and old olive cultivation techniques, with talks and practical demonstrations. Guests will also be able to discover the virtues of olive oil cosmetics and attend culinary shows with local chefs.
November 3: The last day will open with a slow food breakfast, followed by creative workshops for children and numerous cooking shows. The event will end with the traditional "Sindaci ai Fornelli" event, a moment of conviviality that will unite institutions and the public.
