EVENT DESCRIPTION:

The “Enchanted Villas and Gardens” festival, now in its 8th edition, returns from June 5th to July 20th: 14 concerts, great classics from Mozart to Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Prokof'ev scheduled in 7 Medici Villas: La Petraia, Poggio a Caiano, Cerreto Guidi, Seravezza, Quarrata, the Park of Pratolino and the Garden of the Medici Villa of Castello.

A rich musical offering to fully enjoy these splendid and exclusive places, all complemented for the occasion by guided tours of selected villas (free at La Petraia, Pratolino Park and Poggio a Caiano, and for a fee at the Medici Palace in Seravezza) and buffets (for a fee) set up in the Villas of Petraia, Cerreto Guidi, Quarrata and Seravezza.

The concerts have a duration of about an hour starting at 9:30 p.m. with the exception of the appointments at Pratolino and Castello set at 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., respectively.

The initiative is in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Museums of Tuscany of the Mic, Metropolitan City of Florence, Palazzo Mediceo Seravezza, Municipality of Quarrata; sponsored by Unicoop Firenze and supported by Fondazione CR Firenze.
