EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The traveling and interactive theatrical event with Gregory Eve and Luca Avagliano is back, which has Florence and its inhabitants as its backdrop. An initiatory journey towards happiness, which turns into an exhilarating walk where we talk, sing, laugh and socialize again.

Walking thérapie is the fun urban theater format, created in 2015 for the Off d'Avignon Festival, by Nicolas Buysse, Fabrice Murgia and Fabio Zenoni. The Italian Walking therapy, now in its seventh edition, was born in 2018 to celebrate the birth of the tramway that connects Scandicci to Rifredi, and then moved to the historic center of the city and also landed in Milan in the shadow of the Madonnina.

Spectators/patients are provided with headphones at the start that will isolate them from the real world, to let them enter a parallel dimension in which they will only listen to the words and sounds manipulated by the inventiveness of two actors/improvisers such as Gregory Eve and Luca Avagliano.

Walking therapy is proposed as a therapeutic group walk along the streets of urban hell to free participants from their fears... it's a shame that one of the two leaders, a former patient now recovered, proposed by the therapist/holy man as an example of the success of the his psychophysical method, suffers along the way an unstoppable collapse both personally and of the entire therapy.

PLEASE NOTE:
  • Spectators must have an identity document.
  • We recommend avoiding bulky bags and wearing comfortable shoes.
  • We invite spectators to present themselves at the meeting point between 8.30pm and 8.50pm to collect their headphones and stools.
