As the closing event of The State of the Union 2023, on Saturday 6 May the Historical Archives of the European Union (ASUE) will open to the public for a day of music, art, re-enactments, circus activities and guided tours of the Archives and Villa Salviati.

The Apprentice Tour Guides of the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI - Florence delegation) will guide visitors through the splendid gardens and rooms of the villa, and the archivists will illustrate the modern repositories where European memory is preserved. To take part in the guided tours it is necessary to book in advance through FAI in April.

Entrance is open and free of charge, pedestrian access only from Via Bolognese 156 and Via Faentina 261. At the terminus of bus no. 1A in Via Faentina, a shuttle bus will be available for visitors with reduced mobility to reach Villa Salviati.
