Among the main Italian jazz festivals, in the last edition Firenze Jazz Festival involved more than 100 artists! Through a process aimed at encouraging more and more entities to become promoters of artistic events, Firenze Jazz Festival involves squares, historic villas, concert halls and Renaissance cloisters, farmhouses, clubs and venues, addressing both an audience expert in jazz and neophytes.

On the main stage at the Anfiteatro delle Cascine, Florence (12/13/14 September): Alfa Mist (12/09), Bassolino, Coca Puma, Planet Funk (13/09) Alabaster DePlume, Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp (14/09).

In all other locations of the Festival: David Krakauer Acoustic Klezmer Quartet (7/09 Villa Bardini), Eleonora Strino trio (6/09 Villa Bardini), Francesco Cangi and the Lonely Rockets (10/09 Forte Belvedere), Gianluca Petrella & Pasquale Mirra, haTzel L'ombra (7/09 Villa Bardini), Isaiah Collier Parallel Universe (2 September Limonaia Amphitheatre of Villa Strozzi), Pharoah Sanders Project Orchestra of the Conservatory of Florence conducted by Dario Cecchini, Silvia Bolognesi Jungle Duke (28/09 Parco Mediceo di Pratolino).
