EVENT DESCRIPTION:

The screenings begin at 9:15 pm with accessible entrance tickets. Every Thursday the successful formula Cinema in famiglia is renewed with completely free entry, dedicated to families with children and animated films for all ages. Reservations are required for these appointments on the website villabardini.it.

Spectators of “Cinema in Villa” can also visit the exhibition “Caravaggio and the Twentieth Century – Roberto Longhi, Anna Banti” scheduled until July 20 at Villa Bardini, taking advantage of a 50% discount on admission (5 euros instead of 10). In addition, the “Cinema Revolution” festival, supported by the Ministry of Culture, offers special tickets at 3.50 euros for some selected titles.

The program opens on Tuesday, July 8 with “Fuori” by Mario Martone, a splendid adaptation of the autobiographical novel by Goliarda Sapienza. Among the most anticipated titles are “Diamanti” by Ferzan Özpetek, “Berlinguer – La grande ambizione” by Andrea Segre and “FolleMente” by Paolo Genovese. There will be no shortage of meetings with directors, such as the one planned with Stefano Chiantini before the screening of “Come gocce d’acqua”.

From 7:00 p.m. onwards, you can access the Belvedere Terrace for an aperitif with a view of the city, while the Villa Bardini Cafeteria offers dinners at reduced prices for spectators. Parking at the Forte di Belvedere is free for all participants.
