Leaving Monzuno behind, you will resume your journey crossing a centuries-old chestnut grove and the ridge on the main Emilian peaks to arrive at Madonna dei Fornelli. You are now in the heart of the Via degli Dei and this will be an intense but exciting stage: you will in fact travel along various stretches of the military Flaminia, a Roman road dating back to 187 BC. and you will arrive at the largest German Cemetery in Italy, symbol of a wound that has never healed.

The Medici Fortress and the Trebbio Castle will greet you on this day where we will leave Mugello to enter the Florentine hills.
