IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE is an art installation by Alfredo Meschi expressing the loss of 40,000 lives in global tragedies, symbolized by the Xs tattooed on his body. In collaboration with photographer Massimo Giovannini in 2017, Meschi extended his message by tattooing his Xs on 4,000 individuals.

These dual photographic portraits serve as a powerful memorial to the Anthropocene, the era when human action has a dominant impact on the planet.

The exhibition will take place May 19 at the Manifattura Tabacchi.
