EVENT DESCRIPTION:

The New Generation Festival was founded in 2017 to promote emerging artists from around the world. The NGF presents the best talents in the performing arts in the city of Florence. Inspired by the successes of the Italian Renaissance, the NGF celebrates creativity and stimulates it through the connection between art forms, cultures and generations.

The festival will light up on June 11 in the splendid setting of Piazza della Signoria, where music and art merge in an unmissable opening concert. A magical evening of bel canto arias and great orchestral classics, performed by the emerging talents of the Accademia del Maggio Musicale and Mascarade Opera. In the following days the festival will move to the wonderful locations of Teatro della Pergola, Palazzo Corsini al Prato, Il Convento di San Francesco (Fiesole) - for great theater, ballet and live music shows.
