Don't Miss These Events in Florence This October

Anish Kapoor Untrue, Unreal – Palazzo Strozzi

From October 7, 2023, until February 4, 2024, Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi presents a major new exhibition by and with Anish Kapoor, the renowned master who revolutionized the concept of sculpture in contemporary art, forging a journey through large-scale installations, intimate environments, and disturbing forms, creating an original and engaging dialogue with both the architecture of Palazzo Strozzi and the public.

50 Days of Cinema in Florence – from October 5 to December 12

Beginning on October 5th, the 50-day film festival sees Florence host some of the most important international film festivals. This event in Florence opens with the Chinese Film Festival from the 5th to the 8th of October at Cinema La Compagnia, followed by Middle East Now (October 10 to 15), Florence Queer Festival (October 18 to 22), and France Odeon, the film festival beyond the Alps (October 28 to November 1).
