February in Florence with love!
Events and experiences this February with Destination Florence
February in Florence is perfect for wandering around the city without too many tourists and following the eat, learn, love mantra. Taste local products, learn new aspects of the city, embrace the culture and look after your well-being! The month sees international fairs ranging from taste to movement. We recommend you enjoy a little indulgence, and suggest you discover a lesser-known museum: Brancacci Chapel with its fourteenth-century frescoes by Masaccio and Masolino.
FEBRUARY EXPERIENCES RECOMMENDED BY DESTINATION FLORENCE
If you’ve chosen to visit Florence in February, you’ll have prepared yourself for a cold and gloomy climate that can surprise you with spectacular sunny days! For this reason, we have selected four eat, learn, love experiences that are suitable for all types of weather:
- Fattoria di Maiano’s menu for two (a green paradise 15 minutes from the center of Florence) valid for lunch or dinner, with entirely locally sourced ingredients
- A visit to the Buonamici olive oil mill with a tasting of 4 types of extra virgin olive oil, accompanied by Tuscan nibbles and prosecco
- An immersive experience in Florentine leather goods at MINOBOSSI, including a tour, workshop and customized souvenir
- A guided tour and masterclass (in English) by an art expert at the Uffizi Gallery, lasting 2 and a half hours.
