Cycle Florence: living it up on two wheels, living it green

At the touristic info points in Florence you can find the map to discover the city by bike: 90km of bicycle lanes ready for you to enjoy and the new routes to launch the sustainable mobility.

The new map for discovering the city by bike arrives at Florentine tourist information points. The maps include the 90 km of cycle paths that already existed and the new routes designed to relaunch sustainable mobility in the restart phase. The maps were created by the Tourism Department, in collaboration with the Mobility and Environment Departments and with the contribution of Fiab - Firenze Ciclabile - The association FOR Florentine cyclists, as part of the #FirenzeInBici project.

The map is a real 'compass' for tourists who want to discover cycle paths in the city, both inside the parks or along the banks of our river, but also for all Florentines who increasingly choose to use bikes for home, work and more. The map shows the 90 km of existing cycle paths to which 12 km are soon to be added. Thanks to Fiab's contribution, the map also presents the 'Bicipolitana' project for finding your way around the city using cycle and pedestrian paths, protected from traffic.

The maps are distributed at the tourist info points: Piazza della Stazione 4; via Cavour 1r; Piazza S. Giovanni, 1; via del Termine, 11. All tracks are georeferenced and will be available digitally. To download the map click HERE!
